general rule of thumb is anytime you can increase displacement and bore size you lean more in the green on power/tq production. Some play it safe and want to stay .020" over in case they have a blow out and have to rebuild again due to cylinder bore damage but I go straight to .040" over and get the best bang for the buck. You can go up to an 89mm bore but its starting to get thin on wall thickness. But its definitely doable and has been done many times with great success.
